As with other objects of treatment facilities, the installation of the pump must be done correctly to ensure satisfactory and safe operation. The pump should also be maintained at the appropriate level. Following these recommendations ensures the safety of staff and the satisfactory operation of the pump.

>PROCEDURE FOR BEGINNING OPERATION

The pumps should be filled with liquid before starting. This initial filling is not intended to start suction, but to provide the necessary lubrication of the stator so as to fill the pump. When the pump stops, normally there will be plenty of liquid trapped in the system of rotor / stator to provide lubrication on restart. But if the pump has been idle for a long time or has been moved to another position or disassembled and reassembled, should be filled with liquid and to provide some speed before starting up. Normally the pump is a little tight at the turn by hand because of the narrow application of the rotor / stator. However, the dyskinesia disappears when the pump is operating normally under pressure.

>OPERATION DRY BASIS

NEVER OPERATE THE PUMP DRY, EVEN FOR A FEW TURNS BECAUSE STATOR WILL FAIL IMMEDIATELY. CONTINUED DRY BASIS FUNCTION CAN LEAD TO SOME HARMFUL OR HARMFULL EFFECTS.
